Helen joined Polaris Learning in 2010 as Business Development Co-ordinator before progressing to Business Development Manager.
Her role is very varied and covers sales, marketing and customer service. This means no day is the same and Helen says she will never complain about being bored!
“We work across a number of different markets, and we offer a range of products and services.
One of our biggest challenges is making sure the right people know about the right service. We try to do this by keeping in touch with people at networking events, industry events, using social media and, of course, other traditional communication tools. Our goal is to try and make sure that every communication is useful to the recipient, so staying focused is important.
Most of our clients have been with us for many years and high quality customer service is important to us. What our customers need is always changing and we try to work closely with our consultants and customers to help us better understand what clients need now, and might need in the future.”
Before Helen joined Polaris Learning, she worked in marketing and operational roles at Aviva plc, Britannic Asset Management and Scottish Widows plc, followed by lecturing and course development at Aberdeen College.
